A member of the clan of B.Tech Biotechnology batch '14 who really misses his time spent with his friends and teachers there' - would be my apt description currently. Getting through those 4 years would not have been possible without the great faculty and friends I have had over the period. I cannot stress enough how important it is to get through into a good university for your studies. Not because it has a brand name of it's own but because it gives you the right amount of exposure you need to tackle the practical world. That is the kind of exposure and experience what JNU has offered me throughout my tenure at here pursuing my B.Tech. Biotechnology. I am currently residing in Melbourne, Australia working for a medium sized healthcare group as an Assistant Manager. A sincere thanks to my dearest teachers and friends for tolerating me through the years and helping me make the person I am today.

Our Training and Placement Officers assist students to improve their employability by organizing special training camps and workshops. These training and workshops also invite suitable experts from the industry to provide students with in-depth knowledge to align themselves with the industry trends.

The Training Programme Schedule

  • Step 1

    Student training starts from the first year with basic communication skills through various activities. It helps to motivate the students and to improve their communication and presentation skills. The self-confidence they gain from these activities is the hallmark of any student graduating from SSEG, which is a top-ranking university in India.

  • Step 2

    The training in the second year focuses on quantitative and verbal aptitude that continues till the end of the programme to create a holistic personality of the student.

  • Step 3

    The third-year students or the final-year students, as per their choice of course, get a chance to participate in group discussions and mock interviews. The training is conducted during the summer holidays and repeated before they face the final interviews.
